About — BrainDaze
This app was designed to assist those suffering from epilepsy and their caregivers. People living with epilepsy need a fast-acting simple layout and efficient sensory devices to detect seizure activity. They also need to be able to contact emergency services if needed.
Logo — Our Brains Are Different
This logo depicts the difference in how the brain is perceived in reality between someone who has epilepsy and someone who doesn’t. The left part of the brain is more logical therefore, the left part of the logo is more rigid. The right part of the logo is depicted as swirls to represent the “fog” that people with epilepsy feel.
Avatar Feature —
This feature is added especially for children to encourage them to keep track of their daily life with epilepsy. The interactive avatar is a way to encourage kids to stay involved with the app. It is more personable to them by having an avatar that represents them.
Pendant —
This would be attached to the diagnosed epileptic person either around their wrist or neck. This will alert 911 and guardians that this person needs assistance. It will automatically connect to the app and input the data to catalog what happened and for how long. It detects heartrate and uncontrollable movement.
